WALT write open and closed questions How do you feel when you are running? I feel nervous and excited at the same time but mostly nervous. 2. How long do you think it took to finish? I think I took 15 minutes because I was kinda of slow but I ran the whole way so it won’t be something like 20 minutes. 3. What was your goal? My goal was not to be last, I wanted to come at least 20th and was 16th so I achieved my goal. 4. Did you do better than in the practises? Yes because I felt faster than the practises. 5. What was the hardest part of the course? The hardest part was the hill because I was tired and my legs were about to die.

There is a movie called Pigeon Impossible which is a short animated film by Martell Animations. This film is a funny, sad and scary film and is making fun of Mission Impossible and James Bond.

The movie starts in Washington D.C where a man in a black suit gets a briefcase handed to him in a secret handover. He sits down and a pigeon comes and wants the bagel, the pigeon accidentally gets stuck in the briefcase. Now the man has to find a way to get the pigeon out of the briefcase before it’s too late.

In my opinion I didn't like the movie and here are a few reasons why.

I liked it when the pigeon was in the briefcase. It was funny that the pigeon didn’t know what it was doing and that it was pressing random buttons.

I didn’t like it when the pigeon died. It was really sad and if the pigeon had just flown away it would have been safe. It wasn’t right that the man didn’t help the pigeon because he looked up and saw the rocket ship come but didn’t help.

I really didn’t like it that the man was eating the bagel when he should have been concentrating on his work. The whole destruction wouldn’t have happened if the man hadn’t eaten the bagel because the pigeon wouldn’t have come.

Overall I didn’t like the movie, it wastes 5 or 6 minutes you could be doing something else, because it was only a fight over a bagel. I give it 2 out of 5 stars because if you wanna have a dead bird sure but not for me. It wasn’t exciting at all for me, just boring so just don’t watch it.

As you get to the entrance of the forest you look up into the sky and it’s sunny with a tiny bit of cloud. The path is like a normal path you walk on everyday. You’re in the forest now the trees are as green as a green frog and the brown deer's jumping up and down like a bunny. As you walk you hear creepy noises. The sun started to set you know it was going to be dark soon. You close your eyes just for a minute when you open them it’s so dark that you can’t even see yourself. As you are walking something is creeping up on you it jumps you scream but it was just a ladybug on your leg. The wind is making you scream in pain from everything you have seen from today. Your arms and legs feel like they are frozen from the cold air you're shaking like you’ve never before in your life. There are red eyes looking at you in the bushes it’s like you’re in a scary movie. You close your eyes and you walk very fast so that you don’t see the red eyes anymore. Finally you open your eyes again and you’re at the cabin. The cabin is made out of wood and a one story house. You go up the step and now you are in front of the door it slowly opens….

E.O.T.C recount

On Wednesday morning we went to Castor bay for EOTC. I was so excited to go kayaking as my second thing but I was also frightened that I might fall off. We went with Room 7 and my group was Motutapu. We had to change into our togs first before we got into the still salty blue sea. We do EOTC because we need to take risks,skills and keep on trying

As we learn how to paddle and use our kayaks I look into the sea and see how far we go. We put our life jackets on and it was finally time to get into the cold water. It was ok at first and then it got even better when we went deeper into the water. I could see red and yellow kayaks,black paddles,people,teachers,the hot sun and rocks on the sand. I could smell the blue sea and peoples sunblock.I got  really close to someone then I bumped into them. I could hear people shouting when we  were playing with the red ball and trying to hit the teachers kayaks. I could taste victory as I was going further away from my group I needed to turn left so I said “Left left left” and it worked but it was really long and I was using up all of my energy. Next was my favourite part was when we played apple, banana and orange. I had to stand up and go onto someone else’s kayak, it was cool but I was worried and shaking like an unstable table. Next we played follow the leader and we had to follow the parent in a straight line .It was sort of hard but I got the hang of it in 10 seconds.

                Bubbles

Bubble is a ball like an orange.He has two black feathers that look like burnt food.His body shape is a small ball ready to fly off into the sky.His long yellow beak seems like it is ready to fight.His red eyebrows pops out from his face like a banana.

As bubbles gets ready to launch into the air he targets who he wants to get.As he is flying into the air he blows up like a balloon and can break glass and wood but everything else he can’t do that well.Once he has destroyed most of the obstacle he deflates into his normal self again and flies in random directions.

Bubbles is quiet like a shy bird but cheerful like a cheerleader.He also loves to eat yummy sweets he is like the sweet shop owner who sells alot of yummy sweets.He is also happy and quite mischievous like a prankster who pranks really well and scares everyone.
